As far back as I can remember my Aunt has been calling me Caz, she gave me a Caz bracelet on my 16th birthday and at the time, all my friends were calling me Cassie and still do to this day. However, something inside of me knew that I had not matured yet into going by Caz. It wasn’t until very recently that I felt like I had come into my own and was ready to live up to the big name. She must have known that I would have some big plans and goals one day starting here at TheCazBar.

I call my self an advocate for fine spirits and wine and according to my dad it’s in my pedigree. I can remember back when we lived in Long Island and my dad mixing up martini’s early in life and both of my parents enjoying a relaxing cocktail in the evening. Since then I’ve always been intrigued by the beautiful craftsmanship of cocktails.

My journey to find and/or create the perfect cocktail started after I was an Apple in my parents eyes,  I slowly began to understand the world and people around me while at my Home by the Sea. I hit my career and stride being amongst some amazing people in the Chocolate City. Then love found it’s way to my heart and it’s been Peachy ever since.

During the day most who know me can find me managing an international exhibits and events program. I like to call myself a Global Gal with travel snob tendencies because I have grand expectations from customer service professionals, hotels and restaurants. Sounds sexy doesn’t it? It is when it affords me the opportunity to see the world and all of the cocktails offered around the globe. I am thankful for all of the opportunities that my career and life has afforded me. I have realized through the support , love and patience from my wonderful husband that I am able to find my calling in life, one is through service to mankind and the other is by being true to myself and following my heart and my head. They have both taken me to bartending school.

Since my days in college I’ve always been interested in the mixology of cocktails but it wasn’t until very recently that I decided to go to bartending school and this is where TheCazBar is set in motion. I’m enamored and mesmerized by a crafty adult beverage be it a Vodka Martini straight up with a blue cheese olive or a Moscow Mule, or a Caipirinha, a Scotch on the rocks or a Glass of Wine. I could go on, and on and, yup I will in this blog.

The journey to find/create the perfect adult beverage may take a lifetime but I’m up to the challenge and I truly hope you are willing to join me along they way.
